Beauty Booty: The M.a.c Attack

I lost it. I completely just lost it. I went absolutely HAM in M.A.C the other day for no apparent reason at all! Within a 3 day span, I purchased a total of 6 lipsticks that are just to die for. Ladies, I will admit, I gave up the 'M.A.C crack' as a teenager and when I entered womanhood, I decided M.A.C was no longer my speed. I felt I needed to expand my makeup palette and explore other brands like NARS and Make Up Forever. But I digress...

Every now and again I'd stop by M.A.C to pick up the luscious Ruby Woo or Diva or Cyber and of course I tried to order something, anything from Rihanna's collection, but to no avail.

Per usual, I convinced myself I needed some new lipstick so I decided to take a stroll to the MAC location on 125th. I went looking specifically for All Fired Up and left with two additional colors. In less than 3 days, I headed back to set location and embarked on some more lip goodness.

Get ready to swoon....

All Fired Up and indeed you will be with this delicious red/pink matte lipstick.

Flat Out Fabulous, enough said for this plum perfection.

Candy Yum Yum because you can never have enough yummy, vibrant pinks.

Sin, its nearly impossible NOT to do just that in this vampin vamp. Talk about summoning your inner vixen. Meooowww.

Smoked Purple reminds me of cyber, but with a bit less intensity.

And last, but most certainly not least, is Heroine, the color thats on everyone's lipstick wish list because lovas its back and in full effect serving funky purple goodness that I can't wait to try.

All these shades are matte which allows for more depth, definition and room to play with your look!

Here are some test strips for visual sakes.

Happy Shopping!

When you wait great things happen! Yesterday I shared my top 5 Best of the Web and it was not for naught {Double Entendres here}. Best of the Web: Shoe Shopping Edition

Let's talk about the best places on the web to find AH-MAZING shoes. Now I know nothing beats heading to the nearest shoe department or boutique, but for those days when you are stuck inside, maybe at a boring work meeting or its raining as if Noah is somewhere building an ark, online shopping becomes your new best bud - trust me gyals I know!

Here's a list of my top 5 sites....

1. YOOX ~ yoox.com

I've been perusing and shopping Yoox's scrumptious site for over 9 years now. You can find past and present collections at prices that won't make your bank account report fraudulent activity, ha!

Bonus: there's a dream box that allows you to save up to 50 items and when they're down to the last pair you will receive an email notification. BOOM

2. Barneys Warehouse ~ barneyswarehouse.com

Since the dissipation of the live Warehouse sale that used to take place twice a year in Chelsea, barneyswarehouse.com has yet to disappoint. As mentioned in my previous post, mama purchased THREE pairs of shoes over the July 4th weekend - three already discounted shoes with an additional 50% OFF. Can I get a fallelujah!

3. The Outnet ~ theoutnet.com

Net-A-Porter's sister site is a web surfers dream! It just doesn't get any better than this. From their infamous extra 30% off weekend sales to the newly minted flash sales, you can find just about any shoe that your heart and your pockets desire. Oh and btw, they have a Wish List for you to store those 'sleep on it' items.

4. Shoescribe ~ shoescribe.com

Gyals we've all been waiting for this moment - a site completely and solely dedicated to shoes! Welp, look no further because we have arrived. Sister site to yoox.com this shoe site has it all - you'll find everything from Opening Ceremony to Sergio Rossi. This covetable and perfectly curated site is sure to have you stuck on shoepid for hours.

Psstt...there is currently a stomp and shout worthy sale happening right now!

5. Ebay ~ ebay.com

Last on the list and most certainly not least, is good-ole-ebay. You can't go wrong here. Need to find last seasons spiked pump, they've got 'em. Saks is sold out of the new YSL's, fret not, they've got 'em.  So on and so forth. Last year, I snagged my Celine Gold Pointed Wedges from the Winter 2012 collection at an unbeatable price.

Well lovas happy shoepping.
